Community Futures
Community Futures (CF) work with local communities and their agencies and organizations to:
- Develop long-term community economic development strategies and plans
- Co-ordinate resources to implement development plans
- Promote the region and its economic opportunities
Community Futures support economic development by helping entrepreneurs to:
- Prepare and assess business plans
- Provide business and market information
- Provide business loans:

South West Alberta Business Development Centre – Serving Claresholm, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, Cardston, Waterton
Crowsnest Pass Business Development Corporation – Located in the beautiful Crowsnest Pass, the CNP BDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality services to entrepreneurs within the community. The Crowsnest Pass Business Development Corporation is a Community Futures Development Corporation under the sponsorship of Western Economic Diversification.
Community Futures Chinook – Chinook's region is located in southern Alberta, Canada. It includes all of the Municipal District of Taber and part of the County of Warner. The communities that we serve include Barnwell, Coutts, Cranford, Enchant, Grassy Lake, Hays, Milk River, New Dayton, Purple Springs, Taber, Vauxhall, Warner and Wrentham.

Alberta Chamber of Commerce is a federation of 127 Chambers of Commerce, which in turn represent over 22,000 businesses, ensuring its members' business interests are improved through the development and advocacy of policy to the provincial and federal governments.

Regional Economic Development Alliances (REDA)
Alberta Finance and Enterprise (AFE) fosters and supports development of REDAs in Alberta through its 12 regional development offices.
Through its advisory and facilitative role, AFE ensures the Provincial government is supportive of regional economic development. AFE's Regional Development Branch takes a proactive role to meet with community leaders and potential partners to educate, engage and raise awareness of Regional Economic Development Alliances.
