Access to quality health care is vital to our communities and remains a top priority to our residents.

 Our communities have a variety of Health Programs and Services delivered and administered by either the Chinook Region or the Calgary Health Region depending upon their geographic location in our region. 

 The Chinook Region  provides quality acute hospital care, community health services and continuing care for most residents of south central Alberta.   The Chinook Health Region serves more than 150,000 residents and covers 25,947 square kilometers in the southwestern corner of the province.

The Calgary Health Region serves the city of Calgary as well as a constellation of smaller communities.   These include the world famous resort communities of Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise, as well as numerous rural communities stretching from the mountains to the prairies – a total area the size of Switzerland.
