The only thing we love more than celebrating our culture in Alberta SouthWest is sharing it with our visitors.  If you’re interested in theatre, you’ll enjoy our excellent theatre companies in Fort MacLeod and Cardston.  Get a glimpse into our cultural history at a Cowboy Poetry Gathering or enjoy one of our many summer festivals and fairs. 

You can listen to classical music against the backdrop of the prairies landscape, watch fireworks shoot into the starry skies beyond the Rockies at the Thunder in the Valley Celebration or join in the spirit of the country dance in a real barn.  You’ll find outstanding performance groups year-round at the historic Empress Theatre in Fort McLeod.
