About the Area

Fort Macleod is home to the North West Mounted Police Riding Performance, which first took place in 1876. Now, the event occurs annually and is open to the public. 

A wooden turret can be seen beneath a sign for the North West Mounted Police (NWMP) Fort Museum in Fort Macleod.
